There is something special about an early spring wedding in Ohio. While the trees may not be fully green and the flowers haven't quite arrived yet, the season carries a sense of anticipation and new beginnings that feels perfect for a wedding day.

Adam and Devin's March wedding at Brookshire in Delaware, Ohio was the perfect example.

The day began at the Sheraton Suites Columbus Worthington, where Devin spent the afternoon getting ready with her closest family members and friends. The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and full of excitement as everyone prepared for the celebration ahead.

Meanwhile, Adam got ready at Brookshire surrounded by his groomsmen and family. Before the ceremony, the couple chose to share a private first touch rather than a traditional first look. Standing on opposite sides of a doorway, they exchanged personal vows without seeing each other. It was one of the most emotional moments of the day and gave them a chance to connect before walking down the aisle.

Their ceremony took place beneath Brookshire's covered terrace space. Even with the cool March weather and overcast skies, the setting was beautiful. Surrounded by 140 of their closest family members and friends, Adam and Devin exchanged vows and officially began their next chapter together.

One of the things that stood out most throughout the entire wedding day was the incredible support system surrounding these two. It was obvious how much their families love them and how excited everyone was to celebrate their marriage. From emotional hugs before the ceremony to heartfelt speeches during the reception, every part of the day reflected the strong relationships they have built with the people closest to them.

Following the ceremony, we explored the grounds of Brookshire for portraits. While early spring doesn't always offer lush greenery, the soft overcast light created beautiful, timeless images. The neutral and sage green color palette paired perfectly with the season and the elegant atmosphere of the venue.

The reception was filled with meaningful moments, including touching toasts, an anniversary dance, and a fun photo hop that allowed Adam and Devin to visit each guest table and create memories with everyone in attendance.

One of the biggest surprises of the day came just before sunset. After a mostly cloudy afternoon, the skies briefly opened and gave us a beautiful peek of golden evening light. We quickly snuck outside for a few sunset portraits, and those images became some of our favorites from the entire wedding day. It was the perfect ending before everyone headed back inside to celebrate on the dance floor.

The evening continued with a sparkler celebration, plenty of dancing, and an unforgettable party surrounded by family and friends.

Adam and Devin's wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most important part of a wedding day isn't perfect weather or perfect conditions—it's the people who gather around you to celebrate your story.
