Timeless Gatsby-Inspired Winter Wedding at Nazareth Hall
Jaimee and Alex’s winter wedding at Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids, Ohio is one we still think about often — not only because of how beautiful it was, but because of how thoughtful and intentional the entire day felt.
From the very beginning, Jaimee had a clear vision for her wedding day. She knew exactly what she wanted and communicated her expectations openly — always with kindness, and often followed by a quick “I hope I’m not being too much” or “I 'm so sorry if i am asking too much.” In reality, she was anything but. Jaimee simply cared deeply about her wedding and wanted to make sure her vision was clearly shared so we could bring it to life. She was a very detail oriented bride and I reassured her often that the more information she gave us, the better we could serve her — and that trust and communication truly made all the difference. To this day, she continues to support and recommend our business, which means the world to us. They were such a wonderful couple to work with.
A Bold, Timeless Gatsby-Era Winter Wedding
Jaimee and Alex leaned into a Gatsby-inspired aesthetic that felt bold, elegant, and timeless. The all-black guest dress code created a clean, cohesive look throughout the day and photographed beautifully — especially in candid moments and guest portraits.
Although it was a very cold winter day, we were still able to capture a handful of outdoor portraits before transitioning indoors, where Nazareth Hall offers endless opportunities for stunning imagery.
Why Nazareth Hall Is a Dream Winter Wedding Venue
Nazareth Hall is filled with character and architectural detail, making it an incredible venue for both photography and videography — especially in the winter months. From large, light-filled windows to intimate spaces like the chapel and even a vintage elevator, the venue provides variety and visual interest without ever needing to leave the building.
A Non-Traditional Wedding Party & Seamless Storytelling
Instead of a traditional wedding party, Jaimee and Alex chose to get ready with a close group of friends, creating a relaxed and authentic atmosphere throughout the morning. Jaimee was a stunning bride — her dress was dramatic yet elegant, and she wore it effortlessly.
We also had the honor of providing both photography and videography, allowing us to tell their wedding story in a cohesive, true-to-life way from start to finish.
