Wedding at Tall Oaks Resort

Every so often, a wedding takes us a little farther from home, and Kassidy and Flynn's Tall Oaks Resort wedding was worth every mile. Tucked into Sheffield Village just west of Cleveland, this venue blends natural beauty with warm, rustic elegance, and it quickly became one of our favorite places we've ever photographed.

The day began with a beautiful ceremony at St. Luke the Evangelist in Lakewood before everyone headed to Tall Oaks to celebrate. From the moment we pulled onto the property, with towering trees lining the drive and the shoreline of Lake Oliver coming into view, we knew we were in for something special.

Lakeside Portraits at Tall Oaks Resort

One of our favorite surprises was the hydrangeas blooming across the grounds. They made a soft, romantic backdrop for portraits, and we couldn't resist pulling Kassidy and Flynn over for a few photos surrounded by them.

From there, we headed down to the water. The lakeside setting at Tall Oaks Resort is truly stunning, and it gave us room to let Kassidy and Flynn simply be themselves. Some of our favorite images from the day came from these moments: the two of them running hand in hand along the shoreline, laughing and completely in their own world. Playful, candid photos like these are what we love most. They're true to life, full of movement, and they capture exactly how the day felt.

A Warm, Candlelit Barn Reception

As the evening began, guests moved inside the Grand Barn, and it was every bit as beautiful as the grounds. Warm wood tones, exposed beams, and natural light create a space that feels cozy and inviting while still staying neutral enough to let a couple's style shine. Kassidy and Flynn leaned into that perfectly. Lush greenery, white blooms, and tall taper candles filled the tables, and the result was simple, timeless, and absolutely glowing in the candlelight.
