Some wedding days simply have everything come together perfectly, and Matt and Abby's wedding at Bell Manor was one of those days.
From the moment we arrived, the weather couldn't have been more beautiful. The sky was bright blue with soft white clouds drifting overhead, the temperature was warm without being too hot, and the rolling hills surrounding Bell Manor provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Nestled in the hills of Chillicothe, Ohio, Bell Manor is one of the most unique wedding venues in Southern Ohio. With stunning stone architecture, breathtaking countryside views, elegant getting-ready spaces, and a reception hall flooded with natural light, it offers couples an incredible wedding experience from start to finish.
The day began with both Matt and Abby getting ready on-site. One of our favorite things about Bell Manor is how thoughtfully designed the venue is for wedding days. The bridal suite is spacious, beautiful, and filled with natural light, making it perfect for photos and a relaxing morning with friends and family. The groom's suite is equally impressive, giving everyone plenty of room to enjoy the excitement leading up to the ceremony.
Before walking down the aisle, Matt and Abby chose to share a first look. These moments are always special because they allow couples to take a quiet pause together before the whirlwind of the day begins. Seeing their reactions and watching the nerves melt away as they finally saw each other was one of our favorite moments of the day.
As photographers and videographers, we couldn't have asked for a more fun couple to work with. Matt and Abby fully trusted the process and were willing to try just about anything we suggested. Whether it was exploring a new portrait location, trying a creative pose, or chasing beautiful light around the property, they were all in. Their adventurous spirit made creating both their wedding photos and wedding film an absolute joy.
Their outdoor ceremony took place overlooking the rolling hills that make Bell Manor so special. The ceremony site feels tucked away in nature while still offering all the elegance of a luxury wedding venue. Between the gorgeous stonework, scenic views, and even a few curious goats roaming nearby, the property has a charm that is truly unique.
After the ceremony, we spent time exploring the grounds for portraits and were reminded why Bell Manor is one of our favorite venues to photograph. Every corner of the property offers something beautiful, from the dramatic stone architecture to the open landscapes and stunning countryside views. The venue has a way of feeling both grand and intimate at the same time.
As guests gathered for the reception, everyone moved inside one of the most beautiful reception spaces in Southern Ohio. Warm wood tones, soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and large garage-style glass doors create an atmosphere that feels bright, welcoming, and connected to the outdoors. The seamless indoor-outdoor feel is one of the things that makes Bell Manor stand out among Ohio wedding venues.
The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, celebration, and a packed dance floor. Surrounded by the people who love them most, Matt and Abby soaked in every moment of their wedding day, and it was an honor to capture it all.
