Luisa & Griffin’s Boat House at Confluence Park Wedding | Downtown Columbus Wedding Venue

Luisa and Griffin’s Boat House at Confluence Park wedding was a true Columbus love story. From a historic church in Victorian Village to golden hour in Goodale Park and a reception overlooking the downtown skyline, their October day showed off some of the most beautiful spots our city has to offer.

A Historic Church Ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi

Luisa and Griffin said “I do” at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Victorian Village. With its stone exterior, soaring arched ceilings, and glowing stained glass windows, it’s one of the most stunning churches in Columbus. White florals and soft tulle lined the pews, and the moment they walked out those wooden doors as newlyweds, surrounded by cheering family and friends, was pure joy.

Golden Hour Portraits in Goodale Park

After a champagne pop with the bridesmaids outside the party bus, we headed just around the corner to Goodale Park. With its white gazebo, fall trees, and warm golden light, it was the perfect setting for portraits with the whole wedding party. Luisa’s bridesmaids wore mix-and-match shades of green that looked incredible against the autumn leaves. Goodale Park is also one of our favorite Columbus Engagement Photo Locations, and it never disappoints.

Sunset Skyline Views at The Boat House

Then it was on to the reception, and the view did not disappoint. Sitting right where the Olentangy and Scioto rivers meet, The Boat House at Confluence Park has some of the best views of the downtown Columbus skyline. We took Luisa and Griffin out onto the patio as the sky turned soft pink and purple, with the city lights reflecting off the water and string lights glowing along the deck. Truly a dream for a Boat House at Confluence Park wedding.

Luisa and Griffin made their grand entrance in matching heart sunglasses, and the party took off from there. Guests sipped a signature cocktail called “The Confluence,” white florals and greenery filled every table, and a gorgeous tiered cake and desserts made the night even sweeter.
